Education/Training
One of the factors contributing to the rapid growth of North Mesa is the quality and reputation of the entire spectrum of learning opportunities. Served by the Mesa Public School District, the K-12 system is the largest school district in Arizona and enjoys a national reputation for its excellent programs. In addition the community is served by multiple institutions of higher learning such as Arizona State University Polytechnic Campus and Mesa Community College. In fact within a 40 mile radius there are over 25 colleges and universities.
Within the community there is a very close cooperative effort between education and business. Businesses turn to the schools for well-trained workers, continuing education and advanced training. In turn the local schools benefit from financial support, assistance in intern training and placement of graduates.
