Boeing Mesa plant gets $80 million order for Apache helicopters Publication: Phoenix Business Journal; Date: July 29, 2008 The U.S. Army has ordered five new Apache helicopters from the Boeing Co. Chicago-based Boeing (NYSE:BA) manufactures its Apache helicopters at a plant in Mesa. The contract is worth $80 million with the helicopters due to the Army in 2011. The U.S. also sells Apaches to a number of allies including Israel, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Kuwait and Japan. |
