Waxie Sanitary Supply sells building for $4.7M, plans new Mesa structure Publication: Phoenix Business Journal; Date: July 28, 2008 Waxie Sanitary Supply in Tempe sold its 47,000-square-foot industrial building to a Southern California company for $4.7 million. Waxie, through its associated real estate company, Wax Properties Ltd. of San Diego, then signed a 16-month leaseback agreement at the facility. The buyer is Santa Ana #164 of Redondo Beach, Calif. Waxie, meanwhile, is planning to build a new facility in Mesa to occupy when the lease matures. According to its Web site, Waxie Sanitary Supply is the largest family-owned distributor of sanitary maintenance supplies in the country. Wax Properties Ltd. was represented by Bill Bayless and Andrew Brigham of CB Richard Ellis in Phoenix, as well as Don Mitchell in CBRE's San Diego office. The buyer was represented by Tom Louer of Lee & Associates in Phoenix. |
